In Matthew 8:28-34 the bible talks about a legion of demons who possesed two men in Gandarenes. These demons are the angels that followed Satin. They were cast out of Heaven beside Satin They aren't still there. When I asked my Pastor a similar question a couple years ago, this was his answer, "Since the beginning, trators were treated the same as their leaders. American trators are cast out or killed. It would only make sense that the LORD would react the same way as we would towards a trator." At the time of his answer I was 6 and it stuck with me till this day. Now the question I have for you, is Wouldn't the LORD show the traitors mercy?
The Bible clearly says that Satan and 1/3 of the fallen angelic host that rebelled against God were cast down out of heaven. Rev. 12:3-4. It also says: Satan is the Prince and the power of the air. Eph. 2:2. It also says: Satan is like a roaring lion going to and fro about the earth seeking whom he may devour. 1 Peter 5: 8. Satan was in the garden of Eden. Genesis chapter 3. Satan also tempted Jesus at the end of his 40 day fast in the desert at his weakest moment. Matthew 4:1-11 Jesus clearly declared that he saw Satan fall like lightning. Luke 10:18. This term "Satan" includes all who fell with him since they are now his fallen demon army host. Satan does not cast out Satan and a house divided against itself will not stand. Matthew 12:22- 28 A kingdom divided against itself will not stand. Matthew 12:22-28. Just like the political left's attempts to divided our nation. This in itself is tantamount to disaster and could even cause civil war. Of course Satan is behind all division caused by jealousy and he knows a house divided against itself can not stand. A marriage divided can not stand. Unless two be in agreement they can not walk together. Amos 3:3. Satan is the Prince and the power of the air. Ephesians 2: 2 These scriptures clearly tell us Satan has his home here and around planet earth. But we are protected by the power of the most high God in the middle of the devil's domain. He may defeat us in a battle if we waver, but he will never win the war for our souls as long as we put our faith and trust in Jesus. Though Satan slay me, yet shall I serve the Lord. Job 13:15 The war has already been won. We are cast down but we can never be defeated. We are persecuted, rejected, ridiculed, falsely accused, lied about but never forsaken by our God. We have a home and a sure destination and a future hope eternal. We have the greatest eternal retirement plan that money can not buy. Israel, when unified and walking in obedience to God, could not be defeated. But when it became divided and warred against itself, it was eventually conquered. Like a marriage, this is how Satan conquers. Christian or not, Satan opposes all marriages. Selah! Hallelujah! And Maranatha brothers and Sisters!
