Many who support same-sex marriage and gay rights argue that, since Jesus never mentioned homosexuality, He did not consider it to be sinful. After all, the argument goes, if homosexuality is bad, ...

I don't think Christ talked much about "lying with an animal" either, but it is noted in Leviticus 18:23, 20:15 and Exodus 22:19 of the OT and we all know that these kinds of activities are an abomination (disgrace, outrage, atrocity) to the Lord. Their destiny, if not repentant, will lead to eternal damnation!

We know that these things are un-natural as is "lying with a man as with a woman" is wrong and against nature. But there are references in the NT to these things also and those that spoke about them were speaking for God and for Jesus.
Romans 1:24-32 (Paul)
1 Corinthians 6:9-11 (Paul)
1 Timothy 1:8-11 (Paul)
Jude 7 (Jude)

These people, if should they come to us desiring to learn about the Lord and wishing to become His obedient servants, would be welcomed. If they wish to become Christians, they have to change their lifestyles and conform to what God wants for us all.

I don’t accept that they are born this way. As we see in Corinthians, homosexuals were able to change. And even if they are born that way, God gave them and us His word that we all might know how to live in a way that pleases Him. Surely God would know if one cannot help his condition. He gave us all the same set of instructions to live by so I believe it is an acquired lifestyle. God gave them over to degrading passions (because they did not wish to change)!

If they became our brethren and should go back to that lifestyle and are unwilling to change it, it is our duty to have nothing to do with them, not even sharing a meal, as they are living in sin unless and until they repent.

Our motivation should always be out of love for our fellow man. God wants no one to be deprived of the reward of heaven and that all should come to him. But that is up to them to seek Him. Their souls are as valuable to God as is your soul or mine!

Remember that Jesus came to save the sinner and not the righteous (the sick and not the healthy so to speak) and He spent a lot of His time with the sinners which the Pharisees gave Him some grief about in Matthew 9:11.

None of the scriptures noted above would suggest that anyone continuing to live in a homosexual lifestyle will enter in to the Kingdom of Heaven.

What did Jesus and the disciples preach and teach? He talked about marriage being between a man and a woman and that they were to be united as one flesh and that it was so from the very beginning, He talked about sin and repentance and following His example of doing good and loving your fellowman, even praying your enemies.

Because Christ didn't mention it any more than references above would indicate does not make it permissible. Sin is sin and for the most part we all know what sin is. There is enough said in the OT and the NT for anyone to know it is wrong.

God Bless

Jesus was sent to minister ONLY to God's covenant people the Jews to fulfill said covenant made to Abraham. Since he was to minister only to the Jew they would already be very well versed in the Law. Particularly with what was written regarding how God views homosexuality and the resulting consenquense of death to all parties involved so, there was no real pressing need for him to mention it. However, the risen Christ through the Holy Spirit did instruct the Apostle Paul in all things, granting him knowledge and authority to represent him, be his mouthpiece and instruct the newly formed Church in doctrines though his letters to the congregations. As such, Paul made it very clear Homosexuality is an abomination. Praise be to God 's grace those who struggle with Homosexuality can find forgiveness, healing, and nurturing love to help in resisting and ultimately to overcome our struggles.
