The bible is very clear that clairvoyants, psychics, fortune tellers, etc. Are an abomination to God. Deuteronomy 18:10-12 states: "There shall not be found among you anyone who burns his son or his daughter as an offering, anyone who practices divination or tells fortunes or interprets omens, or a sorcerer or a charmer or a medium or a necromancer or one who inquires of the dead, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord. And because of these abominations the Lord your God is driving them out before you."

Although a clairvoyant may seem to know a lot about you or give answers or solutions to your problems, you must test their spirit. 1 John 4:1 states: "Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world." Know the person speaking to you. Know the spirit speaking through that person. If their beliefs or lifestyle don't agree with yours' as a child of God, then the spirit speaking to you is not from God.

Pray to God for anything you need and have faith. There isn't a thing in this world that our God doesn't know or can't do. He will give you the correct answers and set your feet upon the correct path.

Yes it is a sin. There are two plans for your life: Gods plan and Satans. A clairvoyant will tell you Satans plan and words have power- when you participate in divination or witchcraft you give license for those words and plans to come into effect. Also once you have heard those words the choices you make will then often be influenced by those words.
God knows and can reveal everything we need to know about our future 'For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.' (Jeremiah 29:11-13 NIV)
There is a promise that we will find him if we seek him with our whole heart. People usually go to clairvoyants because they are anxious about their future but God commands us: Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; (Philippians 4:6 NKJV) and Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; Do not fret— it only causes harm. (Psalms 37:8 NKJV)
Because: There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. (I John 4:18 NKJV)
Faith in God and revelation of his love is the antidote to fear about the future and should produce confidence and peace in our soul so that we have no need of divination or other pseudo assurances of the future.
