Will the severity of the punishment of Satan be more severe than for non-believers?

We know that Satan, his demons and all the non-believers will go to Hell.
We know that all the people in Hell will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Will the torments of Satan be more severe than those of the non-believers?

It would seem unfair to me that Satan, the one responsible for all the most evil and wicked acts during the past millenniums on Earth, will have the same punishment as the "genuinely good non-Christian".

Revelation 20:14 - 15

LS1910 - 14 Et la mort et le séjour des morts furent jetés dans l'étang de feu. C'est la seconde mort, l'étang de feu. 15 Quiconque ne fut pas trouvé écrit dans le livre de vie fut jeté dans l'étang de feu.

Is it really not bad enough that people will be spending an eternity separated from God, in a terrible place referred to as the lake of fire? Is your sense of fairness really crying out for those in hell hoping that it's worse for Satan? I think there's a problem there...

But that being said, there is some indication from Jesus that there may be different "levels" of hell.

Matthew 10:15 - "Truly I say to you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city."

Personally, I would be more concerned with reaching out and loving those around you and sharing the Gospel with as many people as you can instead of dwelling on whether or not Satan is going to get it stuck to him more severely than others who's sin held Christ to the cross...

Great question and in my humble opinion that would be a management call, but let's look to scripture for clues as I am only in the sales dept.

Prior to becoming Satan and leading a rebellion in heaven against God, he was Lucifer. The pride of Lucifer's own heart led him to covet God's kingdom, the birth of iniquity and no one temped him in this! (Luke 10:18)

God judged him and his rebellious and condemned them to their own kingdom, no appeals or legal reviews. Satan's evil spirit burns with anger all these years, as he is the active enemy of God and all righteousness. (Psalms 75:2; Psalms 125:3)

He can not escape his final fate watching as time pasts and the sun sets on his very short reign, with some of his own captives jumping ship and coming to our Lord, what torment that must be! (Psalms 81:15; Psalms 94:23)

God in His grace and great mercy has provided a way of escape for all man kind, the only thing needed to activate it is our faith in His Son.
(Psalms 118:22; Psalms 103:8; 1 Kings 21:29; Psalms 119:176)

Sadly many will choose not to activate this option, and by their own active choice transport themselves to a place of rebellion that was not created for them!
(Psalms 2:2-3; Psalms 14:1)

Our mission is to clear up any confusion on this option provided by grace to as many as possible, while there's still time on His cosmic clock! (Matthew 7:21)

In the Lord's grace and freedom..warrior on
