In the case of Lucifer he was the top angel and in charge of worship, but he was jealous and wanted more, himself to be worshiped as a god. The pride of Lucifer's own heart led him to covet God's kingdom, and the birth of iniquity, no one temped him! God judged him and his rebellious angels, condemning them to their own kingdom, no appeals or legal reviews. There's no Scripture to support such an assertion, and, as it is not good to show partiality (Proverbs 28:21), and God does not show favoritism (Romans 2:11), we can know that this did not happen.
