How do I tell people that secular songs with sexual or immoral lyrics are sinful?

I have this discussion with my 8 year Old daughter on why we don't listen to certain songs and I always explain it the same way. I don't feel it is useful to listen to things that will lowered your boundaries on what is and isn't acceptable as a Christ follower. If u hear/see certain things often u become almost "immune" to them and then they become "normal". Although I don't know if it is a sin, I don't think it is good to fill ur mind with stuff that over time may lower ur expectations of urself or others.
