In my opinion, we shouldn't feel pressured or obligated to attend every service. But we should DESIRE to be there. God understands our human limitations. He knows sometimes we just can't make that 5 AM prayer service. I believe that, if I were God (which I'm not, thank -- well - God), I'd rather have someone laying in bed at home, wishing they were in church, than have someone in church, wishing they were laying in bed at home.

If we go to church because we feel like we HAVE to, I think it just kinda takes the "zing" out of our worship. We're there, going through the motions, but our heart's not totally into it. We're like little kids asking our parents "Do I GOTTA....?" And as any parent will likely agree, when a kid does something half-heartedly, it just doesn't go as well as when they do something they WANT to do.

If you find yourself not wanting to be in church, maybe you need to find a different church. Maybe your current one isn't where God wants you to be. Or maybe you need to examine your heart. Pray, and seek God's guidance. He'll never steer you wrong.
