Jesus always mentioned a person's faith before healing that person. Is it possible to have total faith without a shadow of doubt before regarding a request, such as a healing is granted? If so, how can this faith be attained?

It is not possible to do it alone... Only by praying to the Lord, asking directly for faith and the power of understanding. Devout Bible study, accompanied by prayer takes you on the road to sanctification--which is characterized by complete faith in Jesus. "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." (2 Timothy 2:15) KJV You have already been saved through justification--that is instant--the moment you accept Jesus as your personal savior. It happens in the blinking of an eye. But sanctification is the work of a lifetime--accepting the additional gifts of understanding and complete faith. You grow on a daily basis. It is a wonderful journey. "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." (Romans 10:17) KJV2000 "And His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all." (Acts 3:16) NKJV
