The Bible is one third prophecy speaking of things that will come to be, in their God perfect and correct space of what we refer to as time. Isaiah 46:10

Names may change somewhat that's human, but the tracks through the sands of time don't, which point back to whom or what was spoken of when written.

Russia is one such example today standing front and center on the world stage unchallenged after downing a civilian plane their goons then proceed to pick the pockets of the innocent dead souls.

While little strange men run about flapping their lips, but say nothing of value, into this void of endless caterwauling a real bear Vladimir prowls doing what totalitarians always do, where there is weakness and no strong opposition to halt them.

I submit three facts for your consideration:

KGB colonel Vladimir Putin the leader for life of Russia, is a student of Peter the Great and his large picture hangs in his private office as such it maybe safe to predict, that what Peter did, student Vladimir may indeed try.

One enters the KGB totalitarian system for training as a child much like the Spartans of ancient Sparta and once in always in.

Within the decade Russia's standing military will be fifty percent Muslim conscripts (draftees, inductees) reason the Russian people don't reproduce much and die young, this fact old Vladimir understands very well.

Most exciting times are these as the hometown faculty lounge commandos square off against the visiting KGB colonels

There is compelling evidence from the Bible and world history that Russia/China could be part of the federation of Eastern world nations that will send hundreds of thousands of military personnel and equipment to attempt to invade Israel. Iran is also speculated to be part of this coalition. It is not immediately clear what prompts the invasion but given that Satan instigates the war, there is no doubt that this is part of the Antichrist system fighting the Holy Land, perhaps because they refuse to submit to the worship of the beast. 

Some Bible scholars suggest that Gog and Magog mentioned in Ezekiel 38-39 and also in Rev. 20:7-10 is probably a reference to a Russia led confederation that will march across the Euphrates and across the Jordan River into Palestine. 

Fortunately, the invading forces will be held back by Christ who will strike them with fire from heaven and decimate them (Rev. 20:7-10).

Whatever the case, Russia, China and the Arab nations have for decades resisted Western support for Israel. It is therefore possible that they will rise up to fight the Holy Land in the battle of Armageddon.
