Interesting question. Let's first look at what "holy" means - BDB Definition: apartness, sacredness, separateness. So a day that is "set apart" is, by that definition, Holy. In Genesis 2:3 we see that God set apart the seventh day so one could say every Saturday is "Holy Saturday" because every Saturday is the seventh day set apart by God to be sacred. The word Sabbath is the name given to this special day. It appears 117 times in the Scriptures and it's plural form "Sabbaths" appears 53 times for a total of 170 times. After Passover, we are instructed to count the Sabbaths so there are seven "perfect Sabbaths" (Lev 23:15) between Passover and Pentecost. So when we see that Yeshua was out of the tomb on the "first of Sabbaths" (see literal translations of Mat 28:1, Mar 16:9, Luk 24:1, Joh 20:1) we have further confirmation of the timing of His death and resurrection. We also have another witness that He is "Lord of Sabbath" (Luk 6:5) having conquered death on that day. That seems like a Holy Saturday to me!
