What happens if you have an evil spirit in or on you, and yet still encounter Jesus, and receive the Holy Ghost?

We don't get good to get God... We get God to get good. His word says come as you are. In fact the woman at the well was blessed and forgiven by Jesus and she had been with 5 men and was still with a 6th man that wasn't her husband. After God blessed & forgave her, she didn't run back to her sin, she ran to spread the good news of Jesus Christ. So if you encounter God and are not changed then I would be concerned and tell you to keep seeking Him. If you encounter God and are changed then I rejoice with you and say continue seeking Him. Our purpose is to bring glory to God. The enemy mocks Him. We must repent and worship God because that is how we show our love for our Savior. Be blessed my friend
