Homeschooling is not a new practice or concept. The basis of homeschooling is scriptural in terms of the parents teaching their children the ways of the Lord and the word (Deut.4:9-10; 6:4-9).
The family was the first school for a Hebrew child, then the synagogue.

The concept of homeschooling in the context of academic education is carried out by some churches and organization's that have developed a bible based curriculum. Here learning takes the normal subjects of English, Math, Science etc but using materials that base their instructional content on the Bible as the main text. These keeps the child learning on course while meeting the moral, spiritual, social and academic needs of a child.
Some organisation that offer these education are ACE- Accelerated Christian Education, Alpha programme etc. There are private schools also that use this curriculum. They have international accredited curriculum and their certificates are accepted in universities around the world.

Some people associate home schooling programme with cults and other questionable groups, but most of these allegations are unfounded. The programmes have helped many missionaries across the globe to educate their children at home and those who want to keep their children away from the moral decay and lawlessness prevalent in public schools.

The curriculum materials used have sound biblical worldview and adopts an evangelical approach that benefit children a lot. Our children have gone through the same and are in university and college currently. They can adapt to public university environment well without compromising their faith or values.
Before we reject or criticise what we don't know much about its good to find the facts or those who have gone through the same, before we make any conclusion.
