The Paraclete will convict the world concerning sin and righteous and judgement. We know that the Holy Spirit is an advocate (Mark13:9-13) When He comes he will explore the error of the godless world 's view of sin ,righteous and judgement. He will show them 1. their refusal to believe on Christ is the basic 2. refusal that the righteousness come from heaven when Christ is no longer with them 3.Their refusal to accept that the ruler of this world has already judged The Holy Spirit convince the facts of sin,of the fault do sin,the fruit of sin and the corrupt nature of sin and that at the end there is death. The world has been delivered from the consequences of sin. The consequences of sin is death. He also proves that the world is guilty before God, Christ is righteous and His righteousness imparted to us for justification and salvation The Paraclete uses all these three truths to pursuance men to believe. Christ cannot die once again for the unbelievers. the duty of the Holy Spirit is to convince the unbeliever for a savior and make believe them the Christ is their Savior (john16:13-15), Acts9:31, 2Cor1:3-8
John 1:1 - 51
NKJV - 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God.

I have modified the answer:n John 16:5-15, Jesus was talking to His disciples on the night before He was crucified. Our Lord was conscious of the disciples' need, and He is conscious of ours. He told the disciples He was going away, but he promised to send the Paraclete (John 16:7) to be with them. The title Paraclete may mean legal assistant, advocate, helper, or simply friend. The Helper would lead them in dealing with the world. This is the marvelous arrangement He made before His departure. The Paraclete "will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment." We know (Mark 13:9-13) that the Holy Spirit is an advocate, a defender in the time of need, but here He "convicts" the world. He confronts the world as prosecutor, judge, and persuader. Jesus said that when the Holy Spirit comes, He will expose the errors of the godless world's view of sin. `Not believing the finished work on the cross' is the basic sin. That is,the deliverance of the world from the consequences of sin. The consequences are nothing but death. On the Cross He took all the punishment of our entire sins. Another error connected to this that they don't believe that they are sons of God and they believe that the sin still exists. Therefore, Jesus said, the Holy Spirit will convince the facts of sin,of the fault of sin, of the filth of sin, fruit of sin and the corrupt nature of sin and at the end there is death. Jesus further said, when the Holy Spirit comes, He will prove that all the world is guilty before God, Christ was righteous, Christ's righteousness is imparted to us for justification and salvation, righteousness is coming from above as gift by faith, though He is going to Father, he will be available through the Spirit and proof of His ascension. Thirdly Jesus said When the Holy Spirit comes He will convince that the ruler of this world has already been judged. Although the devil has been judged, he still has power. He is still the god of this age (II Corinthians 4:4), but ultimately he will be put away. For Satan there is no way out of his predicament. The situation is summarized by the writer of Hebrews (9:27-28) who said: "And in as much as it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment, so Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, shall appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him." God wants a new generation of those who is eagerly await Him. The above can be considered as the Law of the Spirit of Truth. We must present the word in the power of the Spirit. (1Cor.2:4-5)
