That is, for embryos created through in vitro fertilization, is it appropriate or not to use Preimplantation genetic diagnosis as a screening test to determine whether or not an embryo has a genetic disease, so that only healthy embryos are chosen to implant?

You shall not murder. (Exodus 20:13) Say there are ten living embryos, and one is selected for implantation, what would happen to the other 9? Nine lines thrown in the bin? A doctor is supposed to live by his code - to protect lives. Throwing nine lives in the bin is contrary to his primary duty.
