Of course! God LOVES praise. David sang, wrote, and spoke praises so much that his faith and adoration pleased God and He called David a man after his own heart! There are a few praise and worship songs that are actually established from the psalms of David.

Yes, I have a whole list that I am learning. I love David who wrote,
"During my brief earthly life I compose songs about your commands." (Psalm 119:54). And Paul in the New Testament wrote, "singing to yourselves" or rather see the whole context: "Don’t get your stimulus from wine (for there is always the danger of excessive drinking), but let the Spirit stimulate your souls. Express your joy in singing among yourselves psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, making music in your hearts for the ears of God!" (Ephesians 5)
