The Bible tells us "what ever your hands find to do, do it with all your strength". This is not an admonition to diligently do evil, "let him who stole, steal no more", and "away from me, you who work iniquity". Paul admonished his hearers to "find something good to do with your hands, that you may share with others".

The Bible speaks of the workers in the vineyard, and preparing for the harvest, and grace giving. God is completing a spiritual work in all of us, for it is written, my power is made perfect in your weakness. God's work is his will by decree, saving grace through Jesus Christ is his greatest work for humanity, accept this and find rest.

There is someone at my workplace that keeps saying to me, "You are a HARD WORKER!" I am just doing my best, and I know he's just trying to flatter me because he says that to some others, too. But I want to live up to that and also be a witness to him of Christ. So I quote verses about HARD WORK to him:

Proverbs 10:4 says: "Lazy men are soon poor; hard workers get rich." (TLB)
"Lazy people are soon poor; hard workers get rich." (NLT)

Proverbs 12:11: "A hard worker has plenty of food, but a person who chases fantasies has no sense." (NLT)

I like to kid around with him as he does like to kid around with me, too. So I'll say, "Proverbs 12:11 says, ‘A hard worker has plenty of food, but a person who chases fantasies has no sense,’ (NLT) or ‘cents’ because Proverbs 28:19 says, ‘A hard worker has plenty of food, but a person who chases fantasies ends up in poverty.’"--(NLT)

Work hard and become a leader; be lazy and become a slave." (Proverbs 12:24)

"I have to work hard," I tell him. I have to do the HARD WORK of getting along with others, treating others with dignity and honor" (See James 3:18, MSG).

Proverbs 13:4
CSB
The slacker craves, yet has nothing, but the diligent is fully satisfied.

TPT

The slacker wants it all and ends up with nothing, but the hard worker ends up with all that he longed for.

I.e. the slacker longs for it all and ends up with nothing, but the hard worker ends up with all that he longed for.

The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing, but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat (KJV).

Just as important is to do what Paul said, "work with a smile on your face, always keeping in mind that no matter who happens to be giving the orders, you're really serving God. 8 Good work will get you good pay from the Master, regardless of whether you are slave or free."

10 "And that about wraps it up. God is strong, and he wants you strong." - Ephesians 6:7, 10 -- The Message Bible
