I was born into an Assembly of God family. At the age of 3 my father attended Zion Bible College in Providence, RI, where he earned his ETTA in Theological Education and his license into the Assembly of God denomination. Everything in our home was strict A/G, PAOC the Canadian version. Even the abusive potions. Both my sister and I went to and Assembly of God college where we began to teach the teachers and therefore left college. none of my forster brothers are saved due to what they saw in our home. My sister and her husband were devistated by what the church did to them as assistant pastors and left that postion after 17+ years of abuse and at the general counsels approval. I too allowed the abuse as an assistant pastor, Biblical counselor, school teacher, and the like. Now some 35+ years later My sister is a well known assistant to the counsel of the state she lives in. She is a street minister to over 150+ people who love her dearly, is in demand for her straight on demand for her teachings and sermons at their conferences, oh yes, she is an United Methodist Pastor as our mother was a United Methodist all of our lives. I however am a crushed spirit who follow the leading of the truth of our Indian (aboriginal) family, as long as they follow the theology of scripture. I don't believe in most church doctrine! There is one God there should be one doctrine, the Bible, interpreted correctly by God through the Holy Spirit. I guess I lean towards the United Methodist, however my affiliation is High church Scottish Anglican, However, I DO NOT agree with man of their teachings. Like the newest one on homosexual acceptance, especially in the priesthood!!! Thus, I have spoken the truth of where I am as of 44+ years of hurt and abuse, spiritual, mental, emotional, physical, and so on. Now trying to find my way back to the God that loved me so much when I was 3.
Genesis 1:1
1 First this: God created the Heavens and Earth - all you see, all you don't see. Earth was a soup of nothingness, a bottomless emptiness, an inky blackness. God's Spirit brooded like a bird above the watery abyss.
