Pray to God for strength then open your mouth. God said, "Open your mouth and I will fill it." Psalm 81:10

Also Jesus said in Mark 8:38, "Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels."

We should never be ashamed or embarrased to speak about God. If we find it hard to talk then we should pray to him for help.

For me, the best way to overcome embarrassment of sharing the gospel is by sharing a very brief (about 1-minute) overview of my life before Christ and my life after Christ. If the person is open to hearing more, I share 1-3 short miracle stories of how God lead me to/through certain situations.

The responses are wonderful. For example one man (not religious but parents were Jewish) said, “You’re the first person who actually makes me want to think about God.”

I think it was due to my excitement about God and I wasn’t pushy.

I like to think that maybe, if the listener comes to know God, that I helped make God and angels smile. :)

Luke 15:10: “In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”

Hope that helps.

Ask yourself what kind of hate is it that causes one knowing the way, truth, and not tell others about it?
