I personally had a visit with the Holy Spirit. I was skeptical when I first went to this prayer group. In fact, at the time I thought Charismatics were insane. My wife was ill with cancer.
The 3rd time with this prayer group with 40 people, something remarkable happened. I heard in a Man's voice "Mana~Chinook" repeated to me audibly over 1000 times. No one else heard this but me, and at the time I did not say it out loud because at that time I was embarrassed to say it out loud
So I take issue with Michael Houdmann statement that speaking in tongues has ceased. Later I found out by the grace of God that Mana means Spirit and Chinook means Wind, so Mana~Chinook means "Spirit on the Wind." So I take all of you back to the day of Pentecost: "The Holy Spirit came with the roar of a rushing wind and tongues of fire over each one of their heads."
My last name is Azar and in Ancient Persia the meaning of this name is fire.
