Honour is an important attribute of value, humility and dignity. It is defined, according to English dictionary, as having characteristics, such as, "nobility of soul, magnanimity, and quality virtues (eg, reputation, morals etc.)". Proverbs 22:1, "A good reputation and respect, are worth much more, than silver and gold.

Honour is having good reputation, which is an important characteristics, and in all associations Christian must be faithful and live honorably, otherwise unrighteousness and negative aspect of life can easily be tolerated.

1 Peter 2:12, "Keep your conduct among the Gentiles honorable, so that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day of visitation".

There are numerous examples about honours in the holy scriptures, such as, Righteousness, Faithfulness, Fruit of Holy Spirit, Eternity, Kingdom of God, Parables of Christ, Family and home, Marriage, Hope, Mercy, Kindness, Perseverance, Reverent and Worship etc.

1 Samuel 2:30, "Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed [that] thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed".

JESUS IS LORD.
