The bible states the wage of sin is death. Thank God for sending his Son to pay the price for all of our sins so we may go to Heaven eternally.

The penalty for sin is eternal death if you do not believe in Jesus Christ and have a personal relationship with Him. If you have accepted the free gift of eternal life from the Holy Spirit, then you are one with Jesus Christ and have a personal relationship with Him. God cannot tolerate sin, but when He sees His Son in you, then you have the assurance that He sees His Son in you and you will live eternally with Him as he promises in the scriptures. God has forgiven your past, present and future sins, Your faith in Him has set you free from the bondage of sin. The Holy Spirit living in you will teach you all things that God wants you to know and through Him, you will be His voice and witness to others until God takes you home or meets you in the air.
