As a Christian woman who was not blessed with children, I can feel for any of these infertile couples. I discovered later in life that my infertility was due to thyroid cancer. I was so grateful for the opportunity to actually know why, that I was able to continue on with my life and enjoy other people's children. Once in a while I regret not being able to having children and wonder why some people can have them and treat them badly, but then I know that it is God's plan and He has something else for me in mind. I hope everyone can find peace in their hearts.
Here in China, where I am currently, I was called upon to pray for two situations in this regard. One case the husband refused to go to the doctor and told his wife that he only wanted to trust God. His wife was a very strong girl and he was frail. She beat him up because he refused to go to the doctor and he came to complain to us. We had already prayed for him and her. So we urged him to go to the doctor and the doctor took her ovum and his seed and they had a test tube baby. It's been born, and is a healthy boy. The other case was a wife that had miscarried numerous times and after being born again she asked for us to pray for her to have a baby. We prayed for her and she became pregnant. She now believed the promise of the Bible after we had taught her that with faith nothing is impossible to the one who believes. During her pregnancy she was tested severely as she began to see blood, but she had learned that if she doubted not, her faith would be rewarded. She clung to the wonderful promises of God and discovered that God's miracle power had not stopped with the New Testament completion of the Bible. She is daily rejoicing that the God of miracles has confirmed that He still will perform those miracles in our present day. Her testimony is a credit to her strong faith and that God's promises are also eternally true. Mar 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Mar 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. I am also rejoicing as we see God confirming the Word of His grace in China. We are experiencing instant healing miracles as people open their hearts so wonderfully to the Lord. Recently we prayed for a baby and it was totally healed of Leukemia and another 81 year old man healed instantly of prostrate cancer. The God of miracles can and will respond to anyone who demonstrates faith, because this scripture says "whosoever" and that includes anyone regardless of place, nationality, or era. I am discovering more than ever before that nothing is impossible for God and He delights to give His children the power to bear children.
