Not things like discipline, leadership/authority, or civil punishment, but rather trying to force others through word or action to act or think a certain way?

Jesus talked about loving others as we love ourselves. That means accepting others for who they are as we accept ourselves for who we are. Simple. So trying to control others is not a Christian act.
