Does voting for a person who backs abortion or supports same sex marriage make you complicit in their sin?

If you knowingly vote for a person who promotes abortion (murder) or praises the gay movement will you be accountable for this in God's sight?

Very good question and I submit a three part answer for your consideration, but first every voter must exercise due diligence in exploring the true and sometimes hidden character of any candidate that stands for office. (John 7:24)

If you are a Christian your fiduciary duty as an ambassador of the kingdom is your only consideration; prior to transferring (any) your authority to another via your vote!
I submit for consideration;(Mark 10:43; Luke 8:10; Luke 8:18; Luke 10:21)

1. You knowingly; Implies that the vote seeker’s history was clear enough to consider their stated and active positions on public matters done over some period of time.
As such there was very little, if any deception put fore by them as you knew exactly what was on the counter prior to purchase, (Luke 11:23; John 9:41; Judges 17:6)

2. Accountable; In the current amoral season, all ideological fellow travelers have no accountably or responsibly for any of their actions or so they seem to think.
But this stands against natural law (the laws of nature for the secular) simply stated by Issac Newton “for every action there is a reaction”.(1 Corinthians 15:33)

It is not logical or possible for man to separate one from the other; but then again secularism is not logical to start with. Consider these babbles of intelligentsia bromides from past elections; “CHARACTER does not matter” or “EXPERIENCE does not matter”; then what's left that DOES matter?

3. God’s sight; Implies a judgment according to His law, and under this law your blood is the required payment for your transgression, whether one believes it or not.
But since God is merciful and loving He has provided a payment method for our debt, through the sinless precious blood of the Lord Jesus.(Mark 10:45; 1 Corinthians 7:23)

In this question; two clear abominations were addressed that appear on God’s very short list of abominations, and really that's all one needs to know about any candidate.
(Deuteronomy 18:10)

As only God can judge what is in our hearts at any given time, it’s His call as to any level of accountability that might be due on our account.
The daily control we exercise over keeping that number small, is our responsibility as obedient servants of the Most High.

In the Lord's freedom use it wisely..................warrior on

My opinion, and as the Word tells us, is that it doesn't matter who you vote for. The ones that tell you they're pro-life and anti-gay mainly do it to get your vote, and it's the same with those that are back abortion and gay marriage.

They tell you what you want to hear and once elected they cater to those that are their biggest contributors. Namely big business, Wall St, Drug companies, etc. The rest of us get whatever if anything trickles down and in most cases it's not even a trickle, it might be just a drop...

Now I say again that it doesn't matter because it's the Lord who rules the Kingdoms of the world and he appoints the "leaders" of this world,

And he does it for good reasons that we may not understand...

Dan 4:17, John 19:11, Eze 29:19,20, 1 Sam 2:8, Prov 8:15,16, Acts 17:26, Ezra 1:2, Rom 9:17

Yes we may vote but it's the Lord who decides...

{Pro 16:33 NLT} {33} We may throw the dice, but the LORD determines how they fall.

Praise God!
