The New Testament is clear that both angels and demons do exist. We know this because Jesus casts out so many demons in the gospel accounts. It is never stated whether demons can physically manifest as far as I'm aware. However, angels do appear physically as human beings. In Genesis 18 angels can even appear to be guests and eat food at your table. These were the same ones that went to Sodom. They exist but remain mysterious.

I Am a Christian and of sound mind I can surely tell you they are very real,and very evil and take on different forms I know this as fact because I saw one together my sister and I witnessed this so it wasn't my imagination either. I want people to understand these things are real!

I believe in Demons. I am a life long Christian and of sound mind as well. I had an encounter with the demonic realm and was subject to spiritual attack which wounded me for awhile, but I survived and healed up. During my recovery and laying on of hands and the speaking in tongues to rid me of the spirit I leaned that this is a powerful yet dangerous event that opens you up to the spirit realm, so you better have folks involved that know what they are doing. Don't play with fire.

I have good story to tell about a 10 year encounter with the demonic realm. I prevailed, but it was a fight for my life. In short a demon attempted to overwhelm me and burned out my nervous system, took me about ten years to recover fully.
It started one night while I was reading the bible and praying to rededicate my life to Christ. A spirit overcame me, and as the hair on my head stood up, its thoughts told me lies and caused me to see the scriptures in a dislexic, confused web and caused a panic attack in my system. I fought through it and continued to read and pray through it.
Later that week I had a spiritual encounter with what I believed to be a demon in my back yard. The exchange burned out my nerves and I retreated into the house and stood at attention before a picture of the Lord's Supper, and prayed for help. I slipped into a drunken trance for days and the doctor knocked me out for a few days with a big sleeping pill.
Later that month I felt spirits swirling around me one evening, and I asked my wife to pray for me. So she put her hands on my head and started speaking in what she calls tongues. All of a sudden, to my ears it changed into an actual language and what was in me rose up and exploded out the top of my head. I fell into her lap in agony and screaming like a baby, I slowly recovered and walked around the house in a drunken stupor for hours. It took several days to recover fully.
Visited the doctor and told my story and he put me on 4 powerful meds, which were worse. I felt like crud all day every day, and after about a year of suffering I worked with the doctor to step down off those pills. Took about 3 years to heal up. I have been of sound mind now for more than 6 years.
In reflection, I would say the demonic realm is real and spiritual. So, was it just my imagination that caused me to think I saw a demon's spirit and point a rod at it and tell it I would kick its butt, or is there more to this story?
