Fundamentally, all disease is a judgment from God. Adam and Eve did not know corruption of any kind before the Fall. When God pronounced judgment on Adam, death entered the world (Genesis 3:19; Rom...

The Bible says nothing concerning HIV/Aids specifically. To make a broad statement saying that all sickness is a curse from God, on all mankind, negates a loving concept of God and lumps everyone in one huge pot.

Galatians 6:7-8 Proverbs 7:2 and Proverbs 22:8 talk of the believer choosing the right path, not the whole of humankind. The relationship that Jesus has is personal one, not communal. I am not dependent on another person for my relationship with Jesus.

To say that Jesus punishes or curses anyone with disease or disaster is ridiculous. Jesus punishes no one on earth; His kingdom is not here. Matthew 18:36 Jesus healed the sick, the lame, the dead; He didn't cause any of it.

I do believe that a person reaps what they sow. But punishment is not met out until each one stands before God to atone for their sins.

To believe that the current deaths of countless children from a strain of flu that cannot be fought with medicine is a curse from God is beyond belief. Can anyone seriously believe in a god who meets judgment on his children with death? Not the Jesus I know.

I don't believe a loving God would put such disease's as aides/ HIV, cancer and such on innocent children. They're not old enough to reap anything yet. I believe a lot of it is from choice. Our actions have consequences. For instance, the water we drink, blood transfusions, using a dirty needle for a tattoo or something.

There are so many ways in this world that can be the cause of these diseases. We don't need to blame or question if God did it. For the most part, it was our choices in life that caused these things to happen. We just need to be more attentive to the Holy Spirit's direction in life instead of the world's direction.

Sad to say, but that is what most people/ Christians do and don't even realize it. The time we live in is so short, we really do need to wake up or we just might find ourselves being the five foolish virgins instead if the 5 wise ones. Be blessed.

Colossians 3:5-6. The wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience. Believers. Saved sinners.

We find the same thing in the Corinthian church. First Corinthians 5:5. Turn such a one over to Satan to kill the flesh so that his Spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord.

I we as the children of God do not discipline ourselves, then our heavenly father will chasten us.

It says if we are not chastened, we are bastards and not sons.

John 3:18 Believers can no longer be condemned, but we can be chastened by the Lord.

If our earthly fathers chastened us, so will our heavenly Father.

But we are all sinners to a degree. First John 1:8. If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.

Romans 6:23 For the penalty of sin is death, and we all sin, First John 1:8, and we all die, but the GIFT of God is ETERNAL LIFE, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Then there are rewards in heaven. First Corinthians 3:11-15.

Good works could never save a sinner, but out good works after we have received the free gift of God, eternal life, will be rewarded in heaven.

If all of our works are burned up we will still be saved so as by fire. Only our works/rewards will be burned up.

John 6:47. God cannot lie. But we can be chastened by the Lord even to death, but not loss of eternal life, or that would make God a liar. John 6:40. John 3:18.
