There are more tragedies in the inner city every week than among celebrities in a year. The difference is that celebrities are on TV.

I don't think there are "more" tragedies among celebrities than there are non-celebs. I think their tragedies just get more attention because of who they are.

The lifestyles that some of them lead are not biblical to say the least but there are also many Christian celebs.

Tragedies befalls the just and the unjust alike, saved or unsaved, celebs or not. Tragedy is tragedy and it happens to us all. Celebs are no different.

People of all walks of life lack meaning in their lives. People seek after happiness and/or status, only to find that they are both elusive. It is only in finding the meaning of one's life that neither happiness nor control can be taken from a person.

A person is never removed from any particular circumstances in life, but a person's choice is never truly taken from him or her, either. It is in finding meaning that one can stand firmly behind their choice to transcend self and not be affected so adversely by circumstances. If one seeks after happiness, it will surely be taken from him or her. If one seeks for power, then it will surely be taken from him or her, as well. No one can take a person's meaning, though, regardless of situation.

It might help to have someone who calls you to accountability in life and ministry. This can be done without control of any kind. Submission does help save many from self deception and attacks. Submission is to come under another for accountability sake and must be done willingly without control or over-dependence either way..
