I am disabled since 2012. Since that time I also developed an intestinal disorder. My son deserted me and left me to be alone. Through all that in order to cope with my loneliness I started drinking which made my intestinal order worse and always left me broke. Although I always said prayers to our Father in Heaven and to Lord Jesus for the oppressed I never prayed for myself thinking it was wrong. I do not know if an Angel interceded but I then prayed to Jesus Christ to take the alcohol out of my life and he did! I always felt undeserving to pray for me but I thank Jesus each an every day for taking that evil alcohol away from me.

A friend of mine reached out to me to share my testimony of what Christ had healed in my life. It was a very personal testimony of a sexual assault that happened to me when I was a teenager.

I agreed to her request. I shared my testimony in front of 500 men and women. I had not spoken in front of that many people in my life, however, when the evening came I felt a deep peace. When it was my turn to speak, The Lord gave me the courage and poise for a strong voice for women who had suffered the life altering act against them. All glory goes to my Father in heaven Who used me to touch many.

In the last four years I have had a stroke, a kidney removed that the Dr was 99% sure was cancerous, it wasn't, it also was extremely small and useless causing me to have high blood pressure. Then I was diagnosed with non Hodgkins lymphoma. You'd think by this point I'd be going nuts but that peace, oh that wonderful peace filled me. Then there was the heart ablation! But praise God the stroke left nothing that can't be handled, no high blood pressure, cancer free for 21/2 years and heart is beating perfectly! I praise God and the thing they see on my kidney that they think is a cyst? I feel good about that! God is Good, my faith is strong. He has been with me in so many situations. Praise His wonderful name!

I am still here by the grace of God. He brought me through 20 or more years of depression, church hurt, discouragement and thoughts of suicide. I have found Him to be true to His Word. He remained faithful even in the times of my unfaithfulness to Him. I am so grateful for His mercy towards me and endeavor to serve Him for the rest of my life!
