Does God allow temptations?
James 1:13 says that God doesn't cause us to be tempted but does He allow temptations?
James 1:13
NKJV - 13 Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God"; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone.

Zechariah 13:9
I will bring that group through the fire and make them pure. I will refine them like silver and purify them like gold. They will call on my name, and I will answer them. I will say, ‘These are my people,’ and they will say, ‘The Lord is our God. God is talking about the trials and tribulations they are going to go through to build Godly character.
