Just to emphasise mutations were zero when Adam and Eve left Eden and this was reflected in long 900 plus year lives and genetically safe close relative intermarriage. About 1500 years post Eden, the mutation rate had risen, reflected in shortened life spans, and so God wisely banned close relative marriages because of attendant genetic complications. Cousin interbreeding though allowed is not recommended. It’s a bit like skating on thin ice.
