When Jesus spoke about the conditions for divorce in Matthew 5:31-32, did this apply to just men, or to women, as well?

Jesus said, “You have heard the law that says, ‘A man can divorce his wife by merely giving her a written notice of divorce.’ But I say that a man who divorces his wife, unless she has been unfaithful, causes her to commit adultery. And anyone who marries a divorced woman also commits adultery."
Matthew 5:31-32

Does this apply to both men and women equally ?

Divorce:

You are going against God's Will if you (man or woman) divorce your wife or husband! Please read 1 Corinthians 7:10-11. Separation for the sake of peace, yes, but no divorce! (see 1 Corithians 7:12-15).

Remarriage:

For those who are already divorced or separated, God says in His word very clearly that no man or woman shall remarry unless their spouse has died. Please read Romans 7:1-3.

God's word being the absolute truth is valid and meant for women and men. Even when it may be written in the verse "she, wife, her" etc. God's word is meant for and should be applied to men also. Not to women only.

May God bless and protect you always!
