How can we exhort a believer who claims to be 'psychic' to stand firm in faith and not perceived supernatural abilities?

Michelle,
My husband and I got saved, at home with a Bible, 4 years ago, at age 43. That's a lot of wrong living and a lot of renewing of our minds for the Holy Spirit...but with God, all things are possible :)
We've had a horrible time trying to find a good church. As we study the word...every day...we are finding that this is the answer - study the word - every day.
It is mind boggling...truth vs lies!! Everywhere you look. You will either see - truth or lies.
The church is mixed with true believers and false...study the wheat and tares parable and sheep and goat parable and also the four different types of soil parable... God's Angels will separate them in the end but until then you will know them by their fruit (what they produce) not just what they say but what they do.
It can get frustrating at times, but God says He will reward those that endure to the end.
We will keep you in our prayers sister, stay strong!!
Greater is He who is in me, than he who is in the world!!!
