Cathy, good question! Yes, I believe Jesus was there. Hanukkah was a Jewish holiday also known as the "festival of lights" or the feast of the dedication (John 10:22) which began in Maccabean times to celebrate the rededication of the Jerusalem temple following its desecration by Antiochus IV Epiphanes (1 Macc 4:36-61).
This year in the United States, May 17th stands before us as a defining moment--one that could shape the spiritual trajectory of our nation for generations. On this day, the President of the United States has called America to rededicate itself as “One Nation Under God.”
