Feng shui (or geomancy) has also become another satanic - New Age "energy" scam with arrays of metaphysical products...offered for sale to help you improve your health, maximize your potential, and guarantee fulfillment of some fortune cookie philosophy.

In Asian institutions, many working professionals from various disciplines (including engineers, architects, property agents and interior designers) take courses on "feng shui and divination" every year with a number of them becoming part-time or full-time feng shui consultants eventually. They are acting like mediums communicating to the the other mediums via divination to discusses how to build their houses, directions, how to build the alter for their demonic gods and so on.

Geomancy deals with the four classic Greek elements (air, water, fire, earth) of magic that controls earth (and sometimes metal and crystals). This control can be somewhat related to demonic divination as above, or it can be refined control allowing the geomancer or a shaman to summon, create, shape, and/or take control of anything related to the element.

Bible forbids theses heathen practices who superstitiously seek guidance by meteors, planets, signs of the zodiac and all the magic and witchcraft and traffic with demons in the name of Feng shui, geomancy, necromancy, astrology, etc., which are condemned by Scripture.

Geomancy or Feng shui indirectly involves the following Twelve Forbidden Practices in Bible:

1. Enchantments-- practice of magical arts (Ex. 7: 11, 22; 8: 7, 18; Lev. 19: 26; Dt. 18: 10; 2Chr. 33: 6; 2Ki. 17: 17; 21: 6; Isa. 47: 9, 12; Jer. 27: 9; Dan. 1: 20)

2. Witchcraft-- practice of dealing with evil spirits (Ex. 22: 18; Dt. 18: 10; 1Sam. 15: 23; 2Chr. 33: 6; 2Ki. 9: 22; Mic. 5: 12; Nah. 3: 4; Gal. 5: 19- 21)

3. Sorcery-- same as witchcraft (Ex. 7: 11; Isa. 47: 9, 12; 57: 3; Jer. 27: 9; Dan. 2: 2; Mal. 3: 5; Acts 8: 9- 11 13: 6- 8 Rev. 9: 21; 18: 23; 21: 8; 22: 15)

4. Soothsaying-- same as witchcraft (Isa. 2: 6; Dan. 2: 27; 4: 7; 5: 7, 11; Mic. 5: 12)

5. Divination-- the art of mystic insight or fortunetelling (Num. 22: 7; 23: 23; Dt. 18: 10- 14 2Ki. 17: 17; 1Sam. 6: 2; Jer. 14: 14; 27: 9; 29: 8; Ezek. 12: 24; 13: 6- 7, 23 21: 22- 29 22: 28; Mic. 3: 7; Zech. 10: 2; Acts 16: 16)

6. Wizardry-- same as witchcraft. A wizard is a male and a witch is a female who practices witchcraft. Both were to be destroyed in Israel (Ex. 22: 18; Lev. 19: 31; 20: 6, 27; Dt. 18: 11; 1Sam. 28:3, 9; 2Ki. 21:6; 23:24; 2Chr. 33:6; Isa. 19:3)

7. Necromancy-- divination by means of pretended communication with the dead (Dt. 18:11; Isa. 8:19; 1Sam. 28; 1Chr. 10:13)

8. Magic-- any pretended supernatural art or practice (Gen. 41:8, 24; Ex. 7:11, 22; 8:7, 18- 19 9:11; Dan. 1:20; 2:2, 10, 27; 4:7, 9; 5:11; Acts 19:19)

9. Charm-- to put a spell upon (same as enchantment, Dt. 18:11; Isa. 19:3)

10. Prognostication-- to foretell by indications, omens, signs, etc. (Isa. 47:13)

11. Observing times-- same as prognostication (Lev. 19:26; Dt. 18:10; 2Ki. 21:6; 2Chr. 33:6)

12. Astrology and star gazing-- divination by stars (Isa. 47:13; Jer. 10:2; Dan. 1:20; 2:2, 10; 4:7; 5:7- 15)

All the above practices were and still are carried on in connection with demons, called familiar spirits. All who forsook God and sought help from these demons were to be destroyed (Lev. 19:31; 20:6; Dt. 18:11; 1Sam. 28; 2Ki. 21:6; 23:24; 1Chr. 10:13; 2Chr. 33:6; Isa. 8:19; 19:3; 29:4. See 1Tim. 4:1- 8 2Th. 2:8- 12 Mt. 24:24; Rev. 13; 16:13- 16 19:20).

The Question is What is Fenshui? Should a Christian practice feng shui?

Michael has given an overview. I would add that Fen Shui has its origins from the Ancient Near East, particularly India. It involves the belief that there is a balance between light and dark, good and evil – that there is a balance in nature, which every man needs to achieve.

A true believer in Christ should have nothing to do with Feng Shui. This is because our manual of instructions, The Holy Bible says that there is active warfare caused by Satan and his demons (e.g. Re 12; Mk 5) who is even today actively fighting against ALHYM (Ge 1:1 Hebrew) Christ (e.g. Mt Cp 4), and The Holy Spirit and those who truly follow Christ (Ep 6; 2 Cor 10:4-6)

There’s more. The Yin and Yang symbol is a Taoist emblem of two carp which fit together perfectly. Chinese believe that carp which made it through the rapids of the Yellow River, became dragons, and these dragons fill the heavens and the earth. In other words they are God. So China is the Land under control of the dragon, the Emperor or leader, is the Son of the dragon and sits on a dragon throne, and the people of China as children of the dragon.

The Dragon according to the Holy Bible is Lucifer who failed in a coup detat against ALHYM " the serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan. Who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels with him." (Re 12:4,9; Isa 14:12-21; Ez 26:11-19)

This belief in the dragon is proclaimed by the current President Xi Jinping.

A true disciple of Christ is a citizen of Heaven and a member of ALHYM’s household (Ep 2:19-21). As in the world, a citizen must keep the Laws (rules and regulations) of their country rules. Similarly disciples of Christ must abide by Heaven’s laws.

What laws?

The first is to “ agape YHVH ALHYM with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind. And (agape) your neighbour as yourself” (Lk 10:27-28). Agape is totally unselfish sacrificial love which emits from ALHYM (Jo 3:16)

These laws are inscribed spiritually into the minds and hearts of all true disciples of Christ by the Holy Spirit (Ac 2:1-4, 37- 42; Jer 31:31-34; Ez 36:24-28)

The second is to live and obey every word which proceeds from the mouth of ALHYM (Mt 4:4; Jo 14: 21). Disciples are known by the way they live in agape love (Jo 34-35).

The third is to remember the spiritual warfare waging in and over us (Ep 2:2)and that we are armed by the Holy Spirit and protected by the blood of The Lamb (Ep 6; 2 Cor 10:2-4; 1 Cor 5:7; Ep 1:7). We are armed with dunamis power (Ac 1: 8) to fearlessly allow Christ to do His work in and through us (Phil 1:19-21)

The fourth is to know that we are ambassadors of Heaven (2 Cor 6: 20) to get out into the world to seek those ALHYM is saving (Mt 28: 18-20; Mk 16: 14-20; 2 Cor 6: 18-21)

We don’t get to pick and choose what we should think and do when we are led and controlled by the Holy Spirit! (Ro 8:1, 14 NKJV).
