I think that the psalmist's emphasis here is on wanting to be given the maximum opportunity to serve God by being blessed by Him (with the added implication of asking for blessings beyond what may be deserved), including being granted a long life, which the psalmist would then use in obedience and service.

The Hebrew word translated as "deal bountifully" is apparently specifically used only in this particular verse. However, related words are used elsewhere in the Bible to express the idea of prospering, and of being rewarded for faith and prayers.

Translations of the word in various versions of the Bible include "be good to", "deal generously with", "treat with kindness", "be kind to", "answer" [that is, respond to this prayer], "do good to", and "confer benefits".
