Why should I retire at 67 when retirement is not in the Bible?

Joshua 14:10 - 12

ESV - 10 And now, behold, the Lord has kept me alive, just as he said, these forty-five years since the time that the Lord spoke this word to Moses, while Israel walked in the wilderness. And now, behold, I am this day eighty-five years old. 11 I am still as strong today as I was in the day that Moses sent me; my strength now is as my strength was then, for war and for going and coming.

My first thought when I read the question was: there is no mention of electricity in the Bible, there is no mention of the Internet, there is no mention of TV's and so on .... and yet we are happy to live with them and accept them in our lives. I don't mean to be flippant and I apologise if it comes across that way. But sometimes, applying the question to similar issues helps us get an answer ourselves. An interesting way of thinking about problems that I have found very helpful in the past and still use today. Hope this helps.
