What values does a Christian family hold? (Joshua 24:15) --
15 But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites.

Joshua 24:23

ESV - 23 He said, "Then put away the foreign gods that are among you, and incline your heart to the Lord, the God of Israel.

I think that, with respect to the question being asked, the wording of the cited verse from Joshua (Joshua 24:15) leaves out the most important part of the verse -- the portion where Joshua says, "But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."

To me, this indicates three important aspects with respect to a Christian family's values:

1) that those values reflect the teachings and principles of the Bible, the most important of which (I would say) are love of God, love of neighbor, and respect for and obedience to rightful authority, as well as all the conduct that flows from those principles;

2) that there be willing agreement or unity within the family with regard to those values, through the parents showing by their conduct that they "walk the walk" in addition to "talking the talk"; and teaching their children from their earliest age to do the same.

3) that the husband or father (where present) take a leadership role in that regard. (If the first two conditions are fulfilled, the husband/father will be able to speak for his household (as Joshua did) with respect to whom the entire family or household serves, without the necessity of taking a poll or calling a meeting.)
