I humbly submit that the answer is Yes and in fact are taking place before our very eyes transmitted to us almost daily via our advanced technological wonders. Today we are able to know and see what is happening on the other side of our planet almost instantly in real time. The stuff of H.G. Wells has become quite common today, things that were unheard of just a hundred years ago! I submit for your consideration the following, keeping in mind that Israel and her people are the hub or prophetic time piece of this wheel build and placed by God from the beginning. He does nothing, without letting His prophets know first. Ezekiel 37:10-14 speaks of the holocaust and the Jewish return to their homeland. Isaiah 66:8 speaks of Israel on May 14 1948, can a nation be born in a day. Jeremiah 6:22 speaks of the return of the Jews from Russia. Jeremiah 23:7-8 speaks of the Jews homeland return as a message to the world. Jeremiah 29:14 speaks of the return of the Jews from the nations of their exile. Isaiah 27:6 speaks of Israel blooming, exporting food and technology to the world. Zephaniah 3:9 speaks of restoring a pure language Hebrew. Zechariah 12:2-9 speaks of Israel surrounded by her enemies as an immovable rock. Now consider Revelation 8:8 in world war two the atomic age was born (a mountain of fire?) and the nations build, used 105,000 ships, of this number 37,000 were sunk, one third. Revelation 8:10 wormwood in the Russian language translates as Chernobyl, which was also the site of a nuclear accident in 1986............ If one is silent you can almost hear Messiah standing and moving about, look up and be ready friend, true we know not the hour, but He did tell us what the season would look like! In the Lord's freedom and shalom of Psalm 91..................warrior on
There is a lot of confusion about the end times. This is because the whole issue has been unhelpfully clouded by human views and opinions, very few of which have any grounding in the scriptures. We need to be careful of teaching which start off with, "While there is no biblical proof...." and then goes on to give a personal opinion. Everything must be established from the Bible and this is especially so when it come to 'end times prophecies'. So let me provide one text which tells us for certain not only one event which has already been fulfilled, but also exactly when the last times began. You will find the text in 1 John 2:18 and the results are surprising as they are quite the opposite of what is commonly taught today. But then this is scripture and not human opinion. John, who wrote in 90AD, declares that the AntiChrist had already come and that it was already the the last hour. We have been in the end times for almost 2000 years; something which doesn't make sense to a lot of people who have their own ideas of when the end times should be. But the scripture is clear about it. It's already here and has been here quite some time. Regards Philip
A person must distinguish between the terms, the last days to the end of time or the end days. It is written when Christ came, he came in the last days. Hebrews 1: 2: Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; and again in Acts 2:17: "And it shall come to pass in the last days," saith God, "I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams." The last days began with the coming of Christ. Now the end times refer the days just before Christ returns again. Now that we know by Peter’s quote on the day of Pentecost the Holy Spirit will be poured out upon all flesh in the last days, he also gives us the ending of the pouring out of it. It begins at Pentecost and ends with the sun being darkened and the moon turning to blood. This event takes place at the 6th seal in Revelation. The first sign you will see just before Christ returns is his appearance in the air with his Holy Angels. We see when this event does occur, men will be struck with fear, knowing the wrath of the lamb is about to begin. Revelation 6: 12 "And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; 13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. 14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. 15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; 16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: 17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? It is after this event takes place the wrath begins, which are the seven trumpets to sound. The most notable trumpet to see is the 4th one for it is when the day will be shortened. It is only after this event we see at the 5th trumpet, the beast comes up from the pit. So the signs you will notice before Christ actually returns is his appearance in the air and time being changed.
