In my opinion, the prophetic thought being expressed in this verse stems from the fact that righteousness and peace are not always compatible. Righteousness implies judgment or punishment of unrighteousness, which is not normally conducive to the existence of peace. However, it would be Jesus' perfect fulfillment of righteousness through His sinless life, followed by His vicarious enduring of God's judgment against sin on behalf of all humanity, that would allow the qualities of righteousness and peace to be reconciled to one another (that is, to figuratively "kiss" each other), rather than being in conflict, through the granting of peace to those who place their faith in Christ, rather than undergoing the judgment that they deserve for having failed to attain to God's righteousness.
In addition to everything that was said in answering your question, “kiss” is an expression of intimacy, and both righteousness and peace are intimately intertwined in the person of Jesus Christ.
The late Dr. Warren Wendell Wiersbe (Warren Wendel Wiersbe (May 16, 1929 – May 2, 2019) was an American pastor, Bible teacher, conference speaker and a prolific writer of Christian literature and theological works. Born in East Chicago, Indiana, Wiersbe is perhaps best known for his Be Obedient, Be Mature, Be Joyful, etc. And other theological works). Dr. Wiersbe wrote that Kiss in Psalm 85:10 is a Biblical image of Reconciliation/God's Grace. נָשָֽׁקוּ is the Hebrew word for “have KISSED each other. (“Each other” is implied and so put in the King James Bible in italics.) It is related to a Syriac word, kiss (originally smell and an Arabic word fasten together.
