Most people answering the question don't understand what feminism is. Feminism is mainly about fundamental equality at the marketplace. It's equal pay for equal work, equal dignity and equal respect at the workplace. How some people find this fundamental equality violated God's precepts, I don't know. God is not a cheerleader against fundamental equality. Those are human beings, social arrangements, social ordering systems.

As a Christian woman, I don't consider it biblical to support a social ordering system that feeds on fundamental inequality and unfairness. The notion that we are supposed to be brothers and sisters in Christ already says, regardless of what the social ordering system is telling you about their hierarchical system, under God's spiritual system, we are all equal before him. Although men, women, and children have different functions, different roles, their worth, their dignity value is equal before him.

Isn't this fundamental equality the same reason why we demand that the social ordering system respect and protect the life of the unborn children, the pre-born, yet to be born human beings? If Christians can band together to demand that society end the social practice of slavery, punish child sexual abuse and exploitation, why would it not be Biblical to demand equal pay for equal work, equal respect, and equal dignity at the social marketplace?

Seriously, is there any so-called anti-feminist woman going to cheer on less pay for the same work? Are any of them going to rescind their right to vote, have a bank account, buy and sell property, marry any race of men that they want, take any job that they qualify for, get access to an equal education and job training? The answer is no. This is a fake hypocritical talking point.

Whatever private social ordering system or practice you do in your private life has nothing to do with feminism. How men and women handle their private affairs about paying bills, raising their children, cleaning and maintaining their homes, their church life, or spiritual experiences have nothing to do with feminism. Most men and women continue to handle their private lives within their traditional roles.

Let he who is against fundamental equality be first to rescind his or her rights in the social ordering system.
