Although I have not personally had experience with the Mounce Reverse Interlinear New Testament, my understanding is that it differs from a normal interlinear translation in that, instead of translating in the word order of the original Greek text (which can result in problems in comprehending the English reading or meaning of the text), it presents the Greek text in an order corresponding to the English reading of it (even if that means disrupting the word order of the original Greek text). This provides for increased comprehension of the meaning of the text in the language into which the original Greek text is being translated.
