When Mary, the mother of Jesus, stated, "From now on all generations will call me blessed," does this mean she should be worshipped?

And Mary said:" My soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my saviour, for he has been mindful of the humble state of his servant. From now on all generations will call me blessed." (Luke 1:46-48) This passage is often quoted to show even Mary, the mother of Jesus needed a saviour and she was an ordinary woman not to be worshipped.

But exactly what is meant by the last part of the passage," From now on all generations will call me blessed"? Does this open the door for the worship of Mary?

Luke 1:46 - 48

ESV - 46 And Mary said, "My soul magnifies the Lord. 47 And my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.

The word of the Lord God says, "Don't pray to me but pray to the Father in my name." Pretty definitive to me. Pray to no one except the Father in Jesus' name...period.
