I see the Holy Spirit's ministries as twelvefold: 1. Creation (Genesis 1:2) 2. Revelation and inspiration of Scripture (2 Samuel 23:2-3; John 14:26; John 16:13-14; Acts 4:25-26; 2 Peter 1:21) 3. Conviction of sin (John 16:8-9) 4. Regeneration of believers (John 3:5-7; Titus 3:5) 5. Baptizing of believers (1 Corinthians 12:13) 6. Sealing of believers (2 Corinthians 1:22; Ephesians 1:13; Ephesians 4:30) 7. Indwelling of believers (John 7:38-39; John 14:17; Romans 8:9-11; Jude 19) 8. Filling of believers (Ephesians 5:18) 9. Interceding for believers (Romans 8:26) 10. Guiding of believers (John 14:16) 11. Producing spiritual fruits (Galatians 5:22-23) 12. Distributing spiritual fruits (1 Corinthians 12:11)
Revelation and inspiration of Scripture (2 Samuel 23:2-3; John 14:26; John 16:13-14; Acts 4:25-26; 2 Peter 1:21) Yes, Mr. Maas had an excellent answer here. I would say TEACHING is a ministry of the Holy Spirit (John 16:12-15). FILLING of believers (Ephesians 5:18). Amen! I would also add here, that being filled or controlled by the Spirit means a Christlike character (Galatians 5:22-23). Interceding for believers (Romans 8:26) I agree with Mr. Maas’ mention of the PRAYING Ministry of the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:26; I would also add here, Ephesians 6:18). Guiding of believers (John 14:16) To this reference of Mr. Maas, I would add for GUIDING (Romans 8:14). ASSURING is also a ministry of the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:16).
