His mercy. No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me, draws him; I will raise him up on the last day. John 6:44
The one condition for entry into God's kingdom is to be born again of God's Spirit (See John 3:3. See also John 3:5; I Corinthians 15:50). John 3:3 Jesus answered him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God." John 3:5 Jesus answered, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God." 1 Corinthians 15:50: "I tell you this, brothers: flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable." It has happened to me. It can happen to you. "O, taste and see that the Lord is good."
Romans 10:9 says whoever believes Christ died for their sins and God raised him from the dead shall be saved. Note the word shall. Not could, not may, shall. We are saved by grace. A simple belief is all that is required.
The following occur to me: 1) seeking entry like a little child (Mark 10:15) (that is, with humility, unpretentiousness, faith, and trust); 2) trusting solely in the redemption gained by Christ, rather than in any personal righteousness or actions, or in any material objects (such as possessions or wealth) (Titus 3:5; Mark 10:23); 3) willingness to give up anything or any action that causes the person to sin, or that prevents full devotion to God (Matthew 5:29-30); 4) being born again through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit (John 3:3); 5) striving for personal actions to conform to expressed beliefs, rather than being hypocritical (Matthew 5:20); 6) helping others to gain salvation (Matthew 23:13); 7) consciously intending and acting to follow Jesus' commands (Luke 6:46); 8) being faithful with the resources that God has entrusted to us (Matthew 25:14-30); 9) not falling away in the face of persecution, tribulation, or temptation (Matthew 24:13; 2 Timothy 4:10).
