No, we should not fall into the trap of interpreting scripture through present day events. When you do that you end up identifying whatever bogey man of the day has popped up, until we all move onto the next thing. You only have to look at the mis-identifications in books like the Late Great Planet Earth to realise these are failures of perspective. Every age has had their signs and every age has come and gone. No, the right way is to stick to what the Bible says and resist the temptation to put things into it, no matter how obvious it seems to you.

For what it's worth, Jesus made it clear that there will be no signs to his coming again. He will appear as a thief in the night. And if that means anything at all, then you won't know when it's happening and you'll be taken completely unaware. Matt 24: 42-44 The lesson from this is: always be ready, for you don't know when he will return.

I believe that because of other signs, such as Israel reestablished as a nation, and more and more wars in Middle East, we can add this type of pandemic virus and other diseases to list of biblical passages about what to look for near the onset of the tribulation.

There is one sure sign though that will trigger the events, Israel signing a world agreed peace treaty, maybe like the one President Trump offered. [.Daniel 9:24-27] talks about this happening before the seven years begin.

I believe as we move forward, there will be a convergence of happenings that intensify toward these end time signs of disease, war and one world global rule.

We as the church should be prayerful and alert in our lives, and trust God to give us light and discernment.

I do believe the pandemic is a means to bring in control of the people. Have we ever forced people to do something against their will such as wearing a mask and live by new rules of separation? No.

They are working on a vaccine that should be available by the end oft the year. Many corporations are saying that if their people do no take the vaccine they will lose their job. I do not believe the vaccine will be the mark of the beast, but the forerunner of it.

There are signs in the heavens and on earth that the rapture of the church is about to happen. First Corinthians 15:51-53 and First Thessalonians 4:11-18.

All believers will go in the rapture of the church. John 3:18 and John 3:36.

There was an eclipse of the sun across the US that was a sign, and there will be another one across 7 years from that one crossing at the same place on earth. My understanding is that will be the mid point of the 7 year tribulation. So, the rapture would be in 2020 or 2021 if that is true.

Israel became a state in 1948. In one day. Jesus said, this generation shall not pass away until all be fulfilled. A generation is 70 years, or 80 if we live long.

The pandemic is to bring economic collapse to the world to set up one world government. The riots are going to continue and only get worse as these people are being funded by those who want one world government which will be the antichrist system.

If people are commanded to stay in quarantine they can not go to work. We will have economic collapse.

Of course, you can take all this with a grain of salt. Just what I believe. We are in the last days. Give or take a few years.

Luke 2:34, "Then Simeon blessed them, and said to Mary His mother, ' Behold, this Child is destined for the fall and rising of many in Israel, and for a sign which will be spoken against'"

Matthew 12:40, "For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and 3 nights in the heart of the earth."

Jesus is a sign which is contradicted. The Truth is Jesus Himself is the Great Sign, which needs no confirmation. He Is the Sign which arouses the most opposition.

1Corinthians 14:22, "Therefore tongues are for a sign, not to those who believe but to unbelievers; but prophesying is not for unbelievers, but for those who believe."

Matthew 16:1-4, "Then the Pharisees and Sadducees came and testing Him asked that He would show them a sign from heaven. He answered and said to them, 'When it is evening you say, 'It will be fair weather, for the sky is red'; and in the morning, 'It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening,' Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times. A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign shall be given to it except the sign of the Prophet Jonah."

John 2:11, "This beginning of signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee and manifested His glory; and His disciples believed in Him." (Notice, the disciples believed, had Faith.)

Matthew 24:36, Jesus said "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only."

Matthew chapter 25, Jesus parable of the virgins is presented to us. "Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Now five of them were wise and five were foolish."

JESUS IS our SIGN. He is our ROCK of Salvation. He expects our Faith to dwell in Him alone. We are to watch and be ready, for He is The Blessed Hope!

I pray all see THE SIGN of all signs!
