In my opinion, no one, can with certainty, confirm who and what God is. Just like no one can with 100% certainty, explain the bible aside God Himself. Regardless of the answers, one thing is sure, His word is to be followed. His wisdom, fairness, and goodness are all things to live by for us to live a happy life, filled with joy and happiness. After all, which life would you rather live? The way it is today or His way?

God is Love. Is God three in one, or one in three, or simply one?
Man, with all of his wisdom can never in this mortal state truly understand the mystery of God. What do we know?
God is a spirit.
God is love.
God made man in His own image.
God gave His only Son to redeem man from sin.
God revealed His plan for the salvation of mankind thru His Son.
When we are transformed from a mortal being into immortality, only then will we understand who God is.
