Setting aside the false doctrine of dispensationalism, John, in the 2nd chapter of his first letter states that many antichrists have arisen and that there would be at least one more. In the historical sense, likely John was alluding to one of the Roman emperors. Likely Nero or Domitian; both of which were anti-Christ. Anti-christ simply means one that is "anti" Jesus Christ. He/she attempts to usurp the authority of Jesus, claims to be Jesus, works against Jesus, etc. There is no one anti-Christ. The world has seen many and will see many more before the second coming of Jesus.
