Here’s why God allows the Coronavirus and other catastrophes, in my opinion:
1. To accomplish His Will
God used plagues to deliver the enslaved Jews from their Egyptian overlords. (Exodus 9:8-11). See too Ps 105:28.
2. To show that He is all-powerful
God let Satan infect Job with disease so that He (God) could reveal His majesty and power Himself to His faithful servant, Job. (Job 1-2). Grant mentioned this.
