In Genesis, the word which gets translated as "Eden" can also be translated as Heaven. In this unfallen, holy and good garden, God created us! Male and female He made us, and when Eve sinned and was given her consequences, what did God say?
Did he tell her, "now for your sins you must die, and therefore you have to become a woman, receiving a womb with which to bear your own replacements?"
No, rather he said, "now your childbearing pains will become very great." Gen 3:16
When Jesus answered the Sadducees in Luke 20:27-40, he was answering according to their concern: the religious law. In Heaven, religious laws won't exist. Thus, people will not marry or be married, just like the pre-fall Adam and Eve.
But. The religious law is only a shadow of the good things to come (Heb 10:1), it isn't the good things themselves. And wherever there is a shadow there is a good thing! :)
Sex exists in Heaven. Childbearing, too. If a heart so desires, they could be born again in Heaven as their glorified self in a glorified body, even though they already existed. Just like Christ always existed and yet was born to the virgin Mary, grew up, and learned to be who He has always been!
If there's childbearing then there is pain... If there's pain there's crying, tears, panic, fear, bloodshed, etc. That doesn't sound like the heaven I was raised to believe in. That sounds like the town I grew up in, and in which I still reside. I'm looking forward to something very different than what this sounds like.
I was told that eyes have not seen, and ear has not heard, neither has it entered into the mind of mankind, the things that God has prepared for us. Raising children all over again isn't my idea of something that I haven't seen, heard or thought about!
Maybe you misread the scriptures that told you there would be sexual contact and pregnancy in God's kingdom of heaven. At least I hope so...
