I wrestle with that myself and if I find myself doing it I immediately ask God to forgive me and pray that I get better at not doing anything like that.
Jesus understands. The religious leaders were jealous that they had lost followers to Jesus + plotted His death. He was shamefully, physically abused + spat upon. Even after being nailed to the cross, the mocking continued.
Jesus had implored three times for God to “take this cup of suffering away” nevertheless He chose to be obedient for our sake. Forgiveness, jealousy etc. is a choice. Asking God for the grace to be obedient is the example Jesus gave. He said to remain in Him for “apart from Me you can do nothing.” (John 5:5) also remember that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13). Hanging on the cross, Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.” (Luke 23:33-34)
